faq

We do provide you with digital negatives but unless you are really good about transferring them to each new media as it comes along, in 20 years you could end up with the equivalent of a laserdisc full of your images. All the data is there, but you have no way to view them. All you will have to show your children is your prints and albums. To that end we contract with top quality labs that produce archival quality prints and albums. Our canvas wraps are solidly built and will not fade or deteriorate and our prints and albums are made with quality acid-free papers and are specially coated to prevent degradation. These are memories that will last.

Why should we purchase prints through Bagdanoff Photo?

We usually recommend that you see each other for a few very good reasons.

Romantic - The first time you see your soon-to-be wife/husband, its nice not to have 300 people staring at you and if you do a "First Look" before the ceremony it will be just as special, but you get to kiss and embrace each other immediately.

Practical - If we wait to do the bride/groom portraits until after your wedding, your guests all have to sit around and wait for us, which usually puts a rush on your portrait session. We like to have about an hour for these portraits and that is usually too long to make people wait.

Technical - Usually the best light is before the ceremony. We prefer to do your portraits outside, incorporating the location into the portraits to make an image that reminds you not only of how you looked on your wedding day, but also where you were married and in what season.
